In addition to the new Standard First Aid/Adult CPR/AED core training courses are added supplemental modules for specialized training. These modules include:
Family Caregiving Series (featuring 9 subject modules with information regarding taking care of an elderly loved one and taking care of yourself as the caregiver)
All focus on common causes of work-site injuries and key health risks in one-hour, stand alone sessions desgined to help you build a health and safety program for your business.

So... why is training important?
In 2009, 4,340 fatal work injuries were reported at workplaces throughout the U.S. The construction, transportation, and warehousing industry led all industries in workplace deaths with 816 fatal work injuries. (US Department of Labor, OSHA)
The number of nonfatal workplace injuries in 2009 was 3.3 million cases. (US Department of Labor, OSHA).

Four Service Delivery Options for your business or organization:
Option 1: A Red Cross instructor comes to your facility and trains your employees at a time that works for you - daytime, evenings, or weekends, for a minimum of eight participants per instructor. Submit a request.
Option 2: For those businesses with a few employees to train, we offer monthly community classes at the American Red Cross.
Option 3: Become an authorized provider and have some of your staff members trained as Red Cross instructors to provide First Aid, CPR, and AED training on-site.
Option 4: Enroll employees in our combination Web-based and classroom training. The first part of the training is accessed web-based at the employee's convenience, followed by an instructor-led skills practice and assessment.
