Coles & Clark Counties
This page contains information about the Coles and Clark Counties branch office. The branch office for the two counties is based in Charleston, IL and
reports to the Illinois Capital Area Chapter, which is based in Springfield, IL.

On February 11, 2008 the American Red Cross Coles and Clark County, Illinois Branch Office responded to an apartment fire at 1817 S. 9th, Mattoon. The fire affected 36 units. The American Red Cross opened a shelter at the First Presbyterian Church for those who were displaced.

The 1st Annual Run for a Reason: Run Red Charity Race on August 26, 2007 was a success! The More than $1,100 was raised for the American Red Cross Coles and Clark Counties Local Disaster Relief Fund.

The Heroes Campaign is a community-wide, grassroots fundraising effort that raises money to assist local disaster victims with food, clothing, shelter, medications and other necessities.
